On Monday 27 November Inside Canberra held a forum to discuss the future of the defence industry. The event was filmed for Inside Canberra subscribers at the Professional and Corporate level.
The meeting was attended by defence suppliers and defence representatives from various countries associated with Australia’s defence arrangements.
The forum was addressed by the Chair of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence, Senator David Fawcett and the Chair of the Senate Defence Committee, Senator Linda Reynolds.
This was followed by a panel discussion.
The panel included General Jim Molan prospective senator for NSW; Neil James of the Defence Association; Greg Rudd, CEO of the Council of Registered Security Testers (CREST) and Tom Worthington, Honorary Senior Lecturer in Computer Sciences at ANU. The panel was chaired by Roger Hausmann.
